To screen for glaucoma we use the most up to date ocular instrumentation. The Octopus 300 unit will complete a visual field test in under 5 minutes. This is a great improvement over the more lengthy tests using older units. With technology like this, we are striving to manage ocular disease in the most comprehensive way for our patients.

Insurance Plans
We participate with VSP, Medicare, Davis Vision, Aetna, EyeMed, VBA and others. Please call for information on other insurance or discount plans. When you schedule your appointment, please have your current insurance information available so that we may obtain authorization from your provider. If you do not furnish this information in advance, and at the time of your appointment discover you are not eligible for coverage and choose not to keep your appointment, the "time reserved" charge will take effect. Payments for copays, deductibles, and/or co-insurance are due at the time of your visit. As a service to you, our office will bill your insurance company. Being a participating provider, the insurance companies require that we collect these fees as they are terms of your health care contract. Patients are ultimately responsible for all balances remaining after your insurance company has responded. Your insurance company allows us limited access to your information so please keep in mind that YOU are ultimately responsible for knowing the details of your coverage. The best way to get that information is for you to call your insurance company directly by using the phone number on the back of your card. Check with our staff if you have other types of coverage.
